Comparing Eufy's RoboVac 11S with the Roborock S5 isn't a fair comparison. We instead recommend comparing the Roborock S5 with Eufy's 11S MAX model.

Which is better?

If you have arrived at the predecessor Eufy 11S and Roborock S5 as candidates for your home, it depends upon what is most important to you in a robot vacuum. Take the following significant differences between these two vacuums into account:

• Where the Eufy 11S is an effective, while entry-level robot, Roborock's S5 is a fully-featured, high-quality, technologically advanced robot vacuum and mop.
• The Roborock S5 cleans both faster and better. Roborock's S5 uses more advanced sensors including LIDAR allowing it to map and navigate more effectively and efficiently.
• The Roborock S5 is a robot mop, too. That's a big difference. But, to be clear, even if you only use the S5 as a vacuum you'll find it more effective than the 11S.
• Roborock's S5 cleans for nearly twice as long as the 11S. The 11S' maximum run time is 100 minutes as compared to the S5 at 150 minutes.
• Among it's favorite features is the S5's mobile phone companion app. In contast, the 11S does not have a companion app at all.
• Eufy's 11S' is shorter than Roborock's S5. Do you expect your robot vacuum to clean beneath furniture? The height of the Roborock S5 is 3.8 inches, nearly an inch taller than the 11S at 2.85 inches. Depending on your needs (and how high your furniture is off the ground) the 11S might be a better choice.

Our recommendation

If you're choosing between these two and looking for a basic, inexpensive robot vacuum at a very low price, Eufy's 11S is a competent cleaner. For everyone else, the superior Roborock S5 is the clear choice.
